Is there a way to make a custom extended pump for tetra whisper?

Question by Evan: Is there a way to make a custom extended pump for tetra whisper? I want the Whisper In-Tank Power Aquarium Filters from Tetra, for my turtle tank, but wanted it buried in the gravel. Is there a way to make a pump that extends to where the water is, or is there another product that is better? An I don't think I want the Tetra Viquarium Reptile & Amphibian Terrarium Décor, because I plan on having a wider tank that couldn't accommodate the requirements for it. Thanks :) Best answer:
