Is crushed safety glass safe to put in a small fishtank for a single beta, to act as tiny aquarium rocks?

Question by Scott: Is crushed safety glass safe to put in a small fishtank for a single beta, to act as tiny aquarium rocks? I want to use crushed windsheild glass (cleaned of course) as makeshift, and free, aquarium rocks for my small beta tank. is this safe for the fish? the idea is a clear rock solution that is safe and cheap, so i can put led lights under the tank for awesome effect. NO..... my god..its sharp.... they could easily fillet themselve
