Question by Steven: How do I maintain a good temperature for tropical fish when the power goes out? I live in New Jersey, and hurricane Irene is going to be here very soon. The power will likely go out for a long time. I have a tropical fish tank, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for maintaining a proper temperature without a heater (since my heater will have no power). Thank you! Best answer:

if the temp won't go below 66 or so or higher than 88 F the fish should
